In this privacy statement you can read which data Gooiconsult BV (hereinafter referred to as Gooiconsult) processes about you and why Gooiconsult does this, but also what rights you have in relation to privacy. We advise you to read this privacy statement carefully before providing information or personal data to Gooiconsult BV.
Gooiconsult respects your privacy and does everything it can to protect your personal data. We believe it is important that our services are transparent, personal and reliable. Gooiconsult adheres to the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act and handles customer data confidentially. Personal data of customers and visitors are treated and secured with the utmost care.
When processing data , we comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:

This privacy statement applies to all data that Gooiconsult collects and processes about its customers, prospects, participants and other contact persons who have shared personal data with us.
3.1 Participant registration
What does this purpose entail?
For the training courses we provide, we receive information about/from the participants, consisting of: Name, position, email address, telephone, location.
How do we use the information for that purpose?
To invite, inform and make contact with participants.
3.2 Newsletters and information material
What does this purpose entail?
You can subscribe to Gooiconsult newsletters or ask us to send you information material. When you leave your details on our website, you actively provide personal data to Gooiconsult. These personal data are used to inform you about Gooiconsult’s products and services as indicated at the time of registration. You also give Gooiconsult permission to send you specific newsletters in the future that match the interests you specified during your registration. Your data can also be analysed to tailor the information to your interests as much as possible.
How do we use the information for that purpose?
In order to send you specific newsletters and information material, we process your subscription or unsubscription for the newsletter and your personal data such as your name, business address, email address, telephone number, mobile telephone number and information about the services you would like to receive from Gooiconsult. In addition, we may also ask you to provide other information during your registration, such as job title, industry and company name. The personal data are collected and processed in a database. We can also contact you by telephone or email to provide you with further information regarding an application you have submitted.
3.3 Data analysis
What does this purpose entail?
When you use our website, we collect technical information about your device and your online behaviour. This information is used to improve our online services, our products and your browsing experience.
How do we use the information for that purpose?
We collect information such as:
- The IP address of your computer, tablet or smartphone;
- Information about your device’s operating system;
- The internet browser where you surf;
- The parts of the website or app that you visit or use;
- The duration of a visit/session;
- The location data, but only if your (mobile) device allows this.

What does this purpose entail?

How do we use the information for that purpose?
We also collect the information you provide to us via a request or subscription to a newsletter and your data about the use of our website (see 3.2) to map your interests and to tailor our communication with you accordingly.
3.5 Communication and social media
What does this purpose entail?
We are active on various social media platforms, such as X, YouTube and LinkedIn, to inform you about products, events and other activities. If you communicate with us via our social media pages (for example by posting a comment, sending a personal message or by becoming a follower), we may receive personal data from you such as your (user) name, profile photo, place of residence, email address and gender.
How do we use the information for that purpose?
If you choose to share information by publishing comments, reviews, photos or videos, we use this information. Your information is visible to us and other users of our social media pages.
3.6 Maintaining contact and answering questions
We also often receive personal data via the employer/client or from the person themselves. These contact details are stored in our contact database with the aim of maintaining a long-term relationship. This includes name, email address, telephone number and any job title. In addition to this information, the date of the last contact moment is also stated. After a period of two years in which there has been no contact, the personal data will be deleted from our database.
3.7 Concluding, administering and executing customer agreements with us
If it concerns a collaboration based on an assignment and a financial transaction has been carried out, the contact details will be stored for a period of seven years. This is in connection with the statutory directive to retain financial data. After this period of seven years and if there is no longer an ongoing (customer) relationship, the personal data will be deleted from the database.
3.8 Disclosure to third parties
Gooiconsult also regularly engages third parties (such as hosting services, automation service providers, external trainers, etc.) in the performance of its services and other business activities. To the extent that these third parties process your data in the performance of the relevant services and business activities, Gooiconsult takes the appropriate contractual, technical and organisational measures to ensure that your data are only processed to the extent necessary in this context. These third parties will only process your data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Our websites may contain links to other websites. This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that can be visited via links to these websites.
4.5 Correcting or deleting your data
Upon request, we will send you an overview of your personal data that Gooiconsult stores. You can contact Gooiconsult via the contact details below. We would like to ask you to specify this request as much as possible in order to provide you with the best possible service. If the data prove to be incorrect or their storage appears to be contrary to applicable laws and regulations, we will correct or delete your data. We may refuse requests if they are unreasonable or endanger the privacy of others.
